Born locally Mark has grown up at Dromoland Golf & Country club, where he was surrounded by the game of golf at an early age.
I have been a member since 1988 and have witnessed many transformations to the golf course and club over the years. The extension of the 9 hole layout to 18 holes, joining the G.U.I. in 1990, renovations to the clubhouse in 1996 and the 6 million investment in the golf course in 2002.
I have been working in the golf industry since 2004 and have been the Golf Club Manager for the last 5 years.I take an interest in all aspects of the game but love playing golf competitively.

Since joining the golf team at Dromoland 5 years ago, a lot of attempts have been made to get Triona to pick up a club and play but the day is yet to come. While she doesn’t play golf, she has a love for the sport and can definitely talk a good game! As Golf Administrator for the club, she runs all society and corporate bookings. If you have any questions about a group booking, big or small, pop her an email or give her a call and she would be delighted to go through all your options.
Neill has worked in the Golf industry for 3 years now, before joining the golf team in Dromoland 2 years ago he spent some time at East Clare Golf Club. He is an avid sportsman, with a background in soccer but since his retirement, he enjoys more time on the golf course now. As Golf Administrator Neill can offer you assistance in booking tee times, membership information or anything golf related, just give him a call or pop him an Email. He is always happy to help!
A native of Ennis, Paul joined the team in 2002 and oversaw the transformation of the golf course into the stunning parkland venue that now boasts one of the finest challenges of golf in Ireland. Having originally worked as a greenkeeper at the nearby Woodstock Golf & Country Club he went on to acquire a degree in Turfgrass Science and Golf Course Management at the University of Central Lancashire. This led to some time working abroad in golf courses in Spain and the US before returning home to Clare and the beautiful Dromoland Castle. “It’s a privilege to enter the gates here every morning and work at such a majestic golf course”, Paul says, as he strives to make Dromoland the very best it can be.
